I began working in magazines in 1988 when I joined the editorial team of Emap's Here's Health magazine as editorial assistant, progressing to BBC Good Health magazine. Appointed deputy editor on IPC's Family Circle I gained wide experience of the women's general interest market. On moving to BBC Homes & Antiques, also as deputy editor, I specialised in homes, heritage, gardens, antiques, travel, and arts and crafts. While at the title I edited a number of supplements and booklets. I’ve written five books, including the best-selling Juicing for Health. My freelance career began in 2006 and I now contribute to a range of publications and websites, including The Telegraph, Metro, Country Living, BBC Homes & Antiques, Period Living, Coast, Savills Magazine, the National Trust Magazine, The English Garden, Good Housekeeping and Harveys Furniture blog. In 2007 I edited a bookazine for The Sun newspaper – Peter Seabrook's Garden Year 2007. I welcome contact about potential projects or commissions for magazines, newspapers, book publishers, websites and pr and marketing companies.
