I have eight years of experience in the media, and have worked for BBC and independent radio, BBC investigative/political TV (research role), trade and consumer motoring press (including MotorTrader), websites associated with mens and womens magazine titles (Cosmopolitan, esquire etc). I have worked at Thornbury Nursing Services, and as Reporter at the award-winning trade union journal the NUMAST Telegraph (dealing with maritime issues). I was also respopnsible for the redevelopment of the website of the Fostering Network, Britain's leading charity for everyone with an interest in fostering, and for writing a wide range of copy for the national Foster Care magazine (circulation 25,000). Currently, I am the Editor at the Royal Institute of Navigation, but am eager to add to my freelance experience.
