Versatile journalist and copywriter with over 15 years’ newspaper experience.
I spent seven years on the features desk at Glasgow’s Evening Times, four of which were as style editor. I also co-ordinated the editorial content for major Evening Times’ awards and campaigns including Scotswoman of the Year, Local Heroes and the Magic Million to raise £1million for a new state-of-the-art intensive care unit at Scotland’s Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill.
Now I write for various publications including The Herald, Evening Times and The Big Issue, specialising in human interest and celebrity interviews and all things style related, from fashion, beauty and retail to travel and interiors.
I write and edit a glossy lifestyle magazine (readership 120,000) for one of Scotland’s largest shopping centres and my words have appeared in publications for Scottish Ballet, Sense Scotland and Debenhams.
As a copywriter, I’ve worked with companies including The Royal Bank of Scotland, Tulloch Homes, Sterling Mills and The Scottish Building Society.
