Hi, I'm Alan and I have been a personal trainer for the last 10 years.
So... a little bit about me.. my education background consist of a BSc in Sports Science and a MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology. I have also completed many other courses such as Pilates (all equipment and mat work courses), kettle bell, power plate, spinning and just about every other form of exercises you could imagine.
My experience in training is quite vast and varied, from working with the Munster mens rugby team, to teaching equipment based Pilates in studios in Kensington. My main area of work at the moment is training people that want to make a difference in there life via their health and fitness. My experience here is also varied, from people that never exercised before and may want to lose weight, to someone that has a specific event in mind, e.g. a marathon.
Recently I have started blogging about topics that I come across with my clients and have really enjoyed it. I've decided to join this community to help further this new interest of mine by being featured in national publications.
