I currently work on a freelance/ self-employed basis, writing, subbing and proofing for various magazines. These range from the music press, to business-to-business trade magazines, and my current venture working for Buckinghamshire County Council. I am equally at home writing for the music/ entertainment, or business-to-business/ trade fields, and am well used to adapting my style and approach to suit each situation.

B&S was, for more than four decades, the fortnightly, market-leading magazine covering all facets of black music. Editor, STN/ Office Buyer magazines
Producer, STN on Tape
The company published a group of magazines covering the office products industry, and I wrote for all of them at some time or other. I was appointed editor of STN, the leading news magazine for the office products trade, in March ‘96. This is the company’s flagship title, and I was given the job of overseeing its major relaunch. For two years, the company published a monthly magazine on audio tape, an idea which I pioneered, and which involved me in researching and voicing the content.
