Journalist since 1988, where I began in the technology press before moving on to write about the leisure business and commercial property. Since the early 1990s my main work has been in writing about marketing, brands, corporate comms, PR and the media, predominantly for the trade press and national newspapers.
Have written for many, many titles, including the FT, Guardian, Observer, Management Today, Marketing, Broadcast, PR Week, Human Resources, The Grocer, Revolution, Retail Week, MediaWeek, Marketing Direct, Third Sector, Conference & Incentive Travel...and even the likes of the Radio Times, Cosmo and SHE.
Editor since 2000 of Frontline magazine at www.ipra.org
Have worked with many of the leading customer publishing groups over the years.
Have been interviewed on radio several times.
NB: With my wife I co-own ginny gray gallery, a contemporary art gallery we opened in Buckingham in September 2009. I am therefore able to write knowledgeably about SME life, independent retail and the art world.
