I am a highly experienced journalist. I worked for the BBC World Service as an Economics Editor covering the Asia-Pacific region before embarking on a freelance career in 1997. I specialises in economic and financial issues. I write for many major financial institutions, including Baillie Gifford, Goldman Sachs, Threadneedle, Gartmore, J.P. Morgan, Barclays, NatWest and Lazards, as well as the press. I have been published in `The Economist`, `The Independent`, `The Spectator` and by the Observer New Service. I write on personal financial issues as well as global economic and financial developments and has many contacts around the world. Recent articles have included a feature on ISAs for Skipton Financial Services, the impact of the falling dollar on the global economy, and prospects for emerging markets and economies in 2008. In 2009, I have also worked as a project editor for Bloomsbury on major new project.
