Richard Milton is an experienced business freelance journalist specialising in science and technology. He has written and edited for national press and business magazines for more than 25 years. As a freelance business writer and journalist Milton works for a wide range of publications including The Daily Telegraph, Techwatch and Windows Phone News. He is the author of five books including "Bad Company", selected by The Sunday Times as its Business Book of the Week and used as a set book at universities and business schools.

He is co-founder of The PR Training Centre (www.theprtrainingcentre.com), where he lectures on PR, journalism, communications, marketing, and social media. He is a visiting lecturer in PR and Journalism at the University of Buckingham.

As an IT journalist he has edited titles such as "Dataweek", "Electronics Today" and "Minicomputer News" and contributed regularly to newspapers and magazines in the business and trade press. Currently he is editor of Windows Phone News.

He also spent three years as International Information Officer with PA Computers and Communications.

As a radio broadcaster he has appeared on scores of programmes on BBC and overseas radio stations. He has appeared in a number of television productions including the BBC2 series "Heretics". A one-hour TV special made by NBC and based on his book The Facts of Life was broadcast on American network TV in 1997.

Milton also writes fiction, his novel "Dead Secret" was published in October 2000.
