Steve Davison is a freelance writer and photographer who has lived in Berkshire for over twenty years. He has written for a number of publishers, outdoor magazines and other publications including local and national newspapers, specialising in hill walking and European travel.
Steve has written and illustrated several books, including:

He has also fully revised Best Walks in the Chilterns (Frances Lincoln, 2012), including lots of new colour images.
He is currently working on new book projects.
A keen hill walker for many years and holder of a Mountain Leader (summer) Certificate, Steve has also worked as a part-time outdoor education instructor. He is also a member of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild.
