My particular areas of interest are as varied as my writing style - give me a topic and I can turn it into a stylish piece of clean, sparkling editorial work. I also love to get really involved in a story and have in the past gone into an island Regiment camp for the day and written a diary on my experience on a fad diet. My particular specialities include: Fashion - particularly jewellery, as I have a background in jewellery design. Animals & wildlife - especially anything to do with dogs. Health - especially easy-to-understand tips on healthy and holistic living. Food - This is one of my absolute favourite topics! With a passion for discovering local delights and a ticket to every food show, I can sniff out fantastic food-related editorial. Crafts - Another one of my favourite topics, I am always eager to try something new or meet with the best and imaginative craft enthusiasts. Editing/Sub-editing - with a love for words and turning dull copy into something readable, I really get a kick out of reworking editorial. Give me the copy and I will make it gorgeous! Again, I am always happy to write on just about any topic. As an editor, I know how to quickly develop a concept that will fit into a range of publications for a varied audience, and with a keen eye for detail, you can be sure the editorial will not only be interesting, but grammatically correct.

As a natural-born storyteller, I discovered early on that if I trained my crazy story telling into writing I could actually make a career out of it.
It was as a reporter on a daily newspaper where I was able to gain an excellent background in writing, and was also given plenty of opportunity to bring a range of thrilling stories to the newspaper's pages.
I have also done stints in advertising and worked as a wedding planner, the latter helping to turn me into one exceptionally organised person. One little mistake and you had bridezilla breathing down your neck! But after being offered a position as an editor on one of my favourite lifestyle publications, I knew I needed to get back to what I loved the most.
I am back living in Bermuda working at the daily newspaper after two years in London. I currently write and sub-edit the special sections.
