I currently work freelance from home, in Puerto Rico. I have extensive media experience and was President of Journalists Association of Puerto Rico.
For more than 15 years was newsperson and editor in newswire services: The Associated Press, Caribbean Bureau, EFE Spanish News Agency and Notimex-Mexican News Agency. For the last seven years (2002-2009) was director of Communications, Media and Community Relations for three government agencies in Puerto Rico.
Member of two Consulting Boards for the Council on Higher Education, evaluating undergraduate programs at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus School of Communications (2004-05) and Inter-American University-Ponce Campus (1997-98).
Anchored two weekly television and radio programs at WIPR-TV (local PBS channel 6) and WKAQ-580 AM, sponsored by the Journalists Association of Puerto Rico.
Organized fund raising activities, conferences and professional seminars for non-profit organization.
