After a career in PR I spent six years writing and editing a series of lifestyle magazines at Trinity Mirror's flagship magazine publishing house at The Western Mail. As a freelancer I have edited and contributed to a range of regional and national magazines,
I am a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University, delivering lectures for the Fashion branding and communication course.
I also undertake high profile copywriting assignments, and these have been for a range of B2B and B2C clients.
I have experience of styling both fashion and interiors lifestyle photo shoots, both as an in-house editor and in my current freelance capacity.
Specialist areas
I'm an experienced lifestyle and business journalist and former magazine editor - having edited a number of lifestyle titles at Trinity Mirror Cardiff over a five-year period. Although my background is in lifestyle journalism, notably homes and interiors, I've lately specialised in business journalism. I write for regional and national newspapers and national magazines including CFI, and regularly contribute to CFI's sister title Business Vision and Wales Business Insider.
