I have been writing about European politics, business and affairs for major US media since 1989 as a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal, the news agency Reuters, and a freelance writer for publications that include Time Magazine, Fortune, Institutional Investor, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor and others. I am willing to travel anywhere and ready to go on short notice. A reporter who can turn around a news story or a colorful feature on a broad range of subjects, someone you can drop into a new place and be sure to get a good story. I am writing a book about the blues.
