I am a feature writer and copywriter based in Cheltenham, U.K. I write regularly for an American travel magazine looking at British travel ideas, heritage and attractions. Recent articles have looked at the Cotswolds, Morecambe Bay and the White Horses of Wiltshire. I've also written about family attractions and travel for a number of publications.
After 3 years of family life in Seattle, U.S.A, I've also written pieces on the practicalities of moving family to a new country and settling into a new family life.
For businesses, I provide copy for websites, printed brochures and regular online content as blogs or social media posts. Combining interviewing and research, I put together many case studies and advertorials for companies to use in their marketing and promotion.
My background includes an engineering degree, ten years experience in marketing communications and a postgraduate qualification in non-fiction writing and journalism skills. Such a mix has meant I have worked with businesses in a wide range of industry sectors.
Published work includes: The Guardian, Small World Travel Magazine, British Heritage, Families Gloucestershire, Oracle Magazine, Seattle's Child Magazine, Northwest Baby and Child Magazine and the Kirkland News.
