I've been a journalist for more than 20 years, specialising in real life/human interest, health, charities, women’s interest, weight-loss, fitness, lifestyle, celebrity and general features. I'm based in Scotland and write for national newspapers and women’s magazines which have included the Daily Record, Scottish Sun, The Scotsman, Daily Mirror, Bella, Best, Love It, Real People, Woman, Take a Break and Psychologies.
Before freelancing I was a feature writer at the Daily Record for nine years. Prior to that I was a commissioning editor at Best magazine, freelanced at celebrity title OK! and worked for regional daily newspapers. I also specialised in movies and showbiz, interviewing stars ranging from Brad Pitt and George Clooney to Sandra Bullock and Kate Winslet and covered the Cannes Film Festival.
