Chris Cragg was editor of the Financial Times Energy Economist for 14 years, as well as editing the glossy magazine FT Energy World for two. He worked for four years for BP as a specialist writer and was editor in chief at BP during the merger with Amoco. He previously worked for Noroil and Seatrade magazines. He has a doctorate from Oxford and taught at UMIST and the LSE, before becoming a journalist. He has written for Platts Energy Economist, European Energy Review, UNCTAD, The Guardian, Energy Intelligence and a wide variety of other outlets relating to oil, gas, nuclear, electricity and climate change.
