I'm a freelance journalist who covers the telecoms and Internet of Things (IoT) markets. My work appears in telecoms industry media including MobileWorldLive, TotalTele.com, Light Reading, UC Today, Capacity and The Mobile Network. I'm managing editor of IoT Now which covers the Internet of Things industry and of sister title VanillaPlus, which covers the telecoms IT market.
Freelance since 2001, I started covering the telecoms industry in 1998 in staff positions at CommunicationsWeek International and Telecommunications International. While freelance I've served as editor of Stream, Europe’s first magazine to cover mobile content, and as associate editor of Global Telecoms Business. In addition to writing news and features, I host video content and moderate events for IoT Now and VanillaPlus and have done video interviews for Light Reading and other media and firms.
I also provide a range of corporate editorial and media services. I have produced copy for advertorials, blogs, whitepapers and internal publications on behalf of Acision, Aptitude Software, AT&T, BT, CA Technologies, CitiBank, CommuniGate Systems, CTI Group, Dialogue Communications, Ericsson, Huawei, Inmarsat, MDS, Microsoft, Netcracker Technology, Netscout, Oracle, Orange, Orga Systems, Sigma Systems, Syniverse, Tata Communications, Telenor Connexion and TM Forum.
