Biography

Sue Bushell is a multi-award winning writer with more than a quarter of a century’s experience in writing about the business of information technology, integration of IT with the business and other business realities as well as the role and challenges of information technology in Government. She has an excellent range of high-level IT contacts. For the last 15 years she has been Contributing Editor to Australian CIO magazine and editor of CIO Government magazine. During that time she has prepared numerous case studies and written volumes about BPM, IT governance, IT compliance, enterprise architecture, data storage, the human “soft skill” aspects of IT management, IT/business alignment, BI, IT security, outsourcing, disaster recovery, risk management, records management, Sarbanes-Oxley and a host of other related topics. Her work has also appeared in Intelligent Enterprise magazine (US).
She has been three times Highly Commended as Business Writer of the Year in the highly prestigious Australian Business Publishers' Association Bell Awards, and has received numerous other industry awards during the course of her writing career.
She was a major contributor to the landmark book, Extreme Competition: Innovation and the Great 21st Century Business Reformation.
