Dave is a freelance writer and technology consultant. He also designed and teaches the e-business and technology strategy course for the
Executive MBA Program at St. Mary’s College as a part-time faculty member.
He has almost 20 years of marketing, general management, and business development experience. He has also been a frequent
speaker on e-business and digital entertainment panels, and has been quoted in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal and
The Industry Standard.
A long time part-time writer, Dave recently completed a book on technology strategy entitled Hunter or Hunted, which was published via Thomson’s Learning Division. The book is
targeted towards upper-division business and engineering classrooms, as well as industry executives and practitioners.
Dave has published articles in a variety of trade publications and newsletters, and written business cases, sales materials, and marketing copy for several enterprise software and hardware firms. Dave earned his MBA at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern, and his B.S. from the Haas School at U.C. Berkeley. His consulting work focuses on strategy and marketing consulting to senior executives in both well established and start up technology firms.
