David Dorn is, according to some PR databases, a bluff Geordie who has a tendency to speak his mind. He is a very experienced writer, having edited titles for Nexus Media as well as online titles for Telemap and Practical Publishing.
He has a great liking for email press releases and communications in general, and hates faxes. His dietary requirements are simple - Food! He enjoys field sports, with the exception of anything to do with horses, which scare him.
He has become resigned to being an old man - he's actually been an active IT writer since 1984, probably before some of today's youngsters knew what a keyboard was for, but he's young at heart.
David likes to think that he is balanced in his approach to anything in the IT world, but he does get a tad piqued when the New Media professionals are demoted to the "B" list - especially when their audience numbers millions.
Aside from that, he can never get enough product news, and welcomes email press releases without massive attachments.
