I am a writer and editorial consultant, working for both magazines and delivering corporate writing for a series of blue-chip clients.
Although my background has been based on the technology of business – IT projects, IT security, Internet business (or Web 2.0, as it’s now been labelled), my work as Editor of GS1 UK’s GSQ Magazine has since taken me into the realm of the supply chain and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), the probable successor to the bar code across a range of industries: retail, travel and aerospace, health and pharmaceutical products, the automotive industry, even the public sector or entertainment and leisure. I now write a regular blog on RFID for Computer Weekly.
I also have an interest in travel writing and the impact of technology on the business of travel. Travolution, the online travel arm of Travel Weekly in the UK, is one of the key titles I write for.
Another magazine I'm closely involved with is GSinsight, a title which goes to clients of Gillamor Stephens, an Executive Recruitment company serving the European information, communication and technology sectors.
