I began in TV journalism at TV Times; worked on Unesco Courier in Paris and travel PR. Qualified in Public Relations and ran my own consultancy, Keyword Communications specialising in consumer PR (mainly fashion), ran PR training courses; returned to journalism as senior reporter on weeklies, group woman's page editor and theatre page editor. Launched and edited women's pages for two newspaper groups. Freelanced for nationals and magazines (Stage, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Times, Guardian). Edited a showbiz magazine. MA in scriptwriting; written three books on left-handedness (two awards from BMA), research funded by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. I ran own editorial consultancy, Keyword Editorial. Now editorial consultant offering writing and editing services: manuscript appraisals/critiques, copy-editing and feature writing service. Former creative writing tutor for Open College of the Arts and Writers' News. I have been a Writer in Education, teaching creative writing in secondary schools and business organisations. Authored a 4th book, ADHD:The Essential Guide. My play, A Bench in the Park has been showcased in London and broadcast here and in the USA.
