I was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1962. I hold a high school degree in electronics and a university degree in humanities. I have been working as a journalist since 1987, mainly for Italian electronics magazines. In 1990, 1999 and 2001 I spent a few months in Silicon Valley as a correspondent for Italian electronics magazines. From 1999 to 2001 I have been providing articles to Electronic News (Cahners, USA) as a correspondent from Europe. In the same period I served as the editor-in-chief of an Italian magazine covering the packaging industry (food and pharma packaging). In 2004-2005 I contributed to "Il Sole 24 Ore" (the Italian equivalent to the Financial Times). Over the past few years I have been contributing to a number of Italian trade/technical/B2B publications in various industries (food technology, building automation, logistics, medical devices, agricultural machinery, healthcare etc.). I also collaborate with communication agencies by writing "case studies" in English and Italian. I work as a journalist full time and I can travel to cover events and trade shows.
