As my career path has taken me into diverse subjects, I am a versatile consumer and business writer, both on and off-line, and have come to specialise in the following areas:
Media and technology
I have contacts in these fields across the world. I write in-depth analysis pieces for the trade press and more basic explanatory features for the consumer press. I enjoy making complicated ideas easy to comprehend.

Property, homes and interiors and crafts
I work with photographers on interview-led ‘inside my home’ features. I write news stories; international property pieces; interior; home technology and planning advice features; and put together caption-led shopping copy, where I source the images. I also work as a stylist, styling homes shoots.

Food and travel
I enjoy travelling and eating off the beaten track with my young family. Through my writing I hope to encourage other people to follow in my footsteps tempting them to experience different places and taste diverse foods and to travel far and wide with their children.

Environment, education, employment, finance and consumer issues
I draw on my own experiences as a new working mother to explore how varying social issues impact on family life and write advice features for expectant mothers and new parents. I write on education and employment from the student and the employee’s perspective. And, I also write investigative and financial features to make consumers aware of their rights.
