    I am an experienced freelance copywriter and journalist. I produce copy for media outlets, as well as a wide range of companies. Although specialising in information technology my experience extends to topics around general management and leadership, sales and marketing, HR, and other sectors such as transport & logistics, leisure, construction, engineering and management consultancy.

    I write regularly for The Journal which is the Institute of Management Information Systems member’s magazine. Previously a freelance features editor for a regional business magazine I wrote about a whole range of business topics. Other published work has led to articles for Computer Weekly, HR Director, Sales & Marketing Professional and Edge Magazine to name but a few.

    Early in my career I worked alongside the editor of the Chartered Institute of Builders as a freelance staff writer and for their member’s magazine Chartered Builder. Copywriting for Brooker & Howe Advertising Agency led me to work on numerous client accounts and I produced press releases that were broadcast through television and radio.

    I also wrote a range of promotional material including advertorials, articles, brochures and direct mail copy.

    I currently produce all types of online and offline content for companies. This includes press releases, newsletters, case studies, product overviews, data sheets, website copy and white papers. I have the ability to take complex information and produce copy that is clear, concise, and easily understood by the target audience - particularly when dealing with technical subjects.

    I have a flexible writing style with the aptitude to switch between both formal and informal writing styles to suit a variety of audience.
