I've written about 300 promotional and training video scripts - and directed them so I know they work. I've also written and directed television docs, children's animation. and written and directed feature films. I've had 4 books published: 2 for Focal Press on various aspects of Film & TV production; two explaining the Internet to kids, one for Bloomsbury, the other for Oxford University Press. I've written a growing number of magazine articles, and a lot of promotional material. Background in broadcast TV (since 1975). Also have a Private Pilot's Licence with an Instrument Rating. I'm good at understanding a subject quickly (sometimes very technical subjects), and explaining it clearly. I speak better than fluent German, and have worked in Austria and Germany. Have translated German to English and work happily in the German-speaking world.
