I'm a freelance writer (and member of the British Guild of Travel Writers) specialising in travel throughout Europe.
My work has appeared in print and online for The Times, The Telegraph, Skylife Magazine, France Today, Discover Touring, Discover Britain, Practical Motorhome, French Entrée, Camping & Caravanning, Great British Food and Speciality Food, to name a few.
I'm the author of three travel guides, 'Slow Travel: The Cotswolds' (Bradt; first published April 2011, 2nd edition Feb 2017), 'Cool Caravanning' (Fox Chapel; first published March 2010, 2nd edition May 2017 and includes my own photography) and 'The Camping Pocket Bible' (Crimson; March 2011) and co-author of 'Slow Travel: Yorkshire Dales & North York Moors'.
I've also provided contributions for '1001 Escapes to Experience Before You Die' (published October 2009). and the updates to '50 Walks in Herefordshire & Worcestershire' (AA Publishing; April 2013). I'm the publisher/editor of the travel website www.slowcotswolds.co.uk and have provided online content for several websites including AA Publishing, Discover Touring and Practical Caravan.
I have more than 25 years' experience working in publishing, writing features, blogs, news and product reviews. I've covered/reported on events and conducted interviews in English and French. Prior to turning freelance in 2005, I was Group Editor covering four national B2B magazines.
