    After graduating with a degree in Communication in 2009, I worked as a business journalist for Entrepreneur Magazine — the local franchise of the US-based business start-up magazine. Two-and-a-half years later, I decided to widen my writing repertoire by becoming a freelance journalist covering topics in business and management, lifestyle and travel, and technology for various print and online publications. It was here that social media began to play a significant role in my work.

    In 2014 I joined leading advertising agency Leo Burnett as a digital content manager. There I led a team of engagement specialists in creating content and engaging with communities on social media for multiple multinational brands including McDonald’s, Ariel, and Tide. In 2015, I was named the number one digital manager of the year by the leading publication for the advertising and marketing industry in the country. In 2016, I was named second best digital manager; my former boss took the number one spot.

    In July 2017 I received my Masters in Journalism, Media and Globalisation from City University of London (UK) and Aarhus University (Denmark) after receiving a full scholarship from Erasmus+.

    I’m currently based in London, UK as a freelance journalist. I also provide research and copywriting services to brands and organisations. I’m currently teaching myself how to code and also how to make macarons — not at the same time.
