Travel: Over the past ten years I have written numerous articles related to travel, often exploring more alternative angles: - Volunteer Travel - Travelling Families - Exploring by Water and Road - Long-term Travel. Nature: In recent years I have written for a number of nature/wildlife/health magazines on subjects such as: - Engaging Children with the Natural World - Bird Watching (from various locations and in different styles: by boat / horseback / bird-watching with children... etc) - Permaculture Gardening - Self Sufficiency - Vegetarian Diets. These days I often combine travel-writing with my love of nature.

Biography

I write for various publications about travel and nature and my articles have appeared in numerous magazines, both in print and online.

My first book, Tales from a Travelling Mum, was published in 2009 and I am currently busy working on my second ~ a memoir of life on the Inland Waterways of England ~ which combines both my practical experience of the narrowboating lifestyle along with my quest for a more simplified, nature-focused way of life.

As well as non-fiction books and articles for adults, my first children's book ~ Winston the Worried Whale ~ will be published in Summer 2015. I am also busy working on several other stories for children that inspire kindness, imagination and a love of nature.

My Travel & Nature articles have appeared in numerous publications including: Bird Watching Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Practical Motorhome, Countryman Magazine, Rosetta Stone, Permaculture Magazine, Fleetway Travel, The Vegetarian, JUNO, Spain Magazine, Mumsense magazine, Transitions Abroad, Living Abroad, Babyworld, Dogs Today, Smallholder.

I always supply my words to deadline, accompanied by a good selection of high-res photos.
